Home Business

This is a topic that generate over 2,700,000 searches just last month. With the economy the way it is, and the 70+ year history of the Network Marketing arena, there are going to be some companies that explode their business. That is the good news.

What to know the bad news? There are going to be some companies that explode their business.
Why would I say that's a bad thing, let me see if I can do a good enough job to explain it here in this blog.

The good news is simple, people are looking for an extra way to generate income, and this is the most effective way of doing that, meaning finding a Network Marketing company that makes sense to you and being apart of it.

Why it could be a bad thing is this. Many people will join and not have the right mind set, or the best training to help make sure they succeed. Its easy to get started, its easy to talk about, at least for the 1st month. Then it gets more difficult, and the pressures of the not producing like you thought you could start to become a reality no one really wants to see.

So then its the challenge of having to re-commit yourself to the project and start again. That's not always easy or truthfully, what you really want to do.

So how do you avoid the pitfalls.. make you you have someone holding you accountable, make sure you have a system that you can you to track your progress. This is critical. Just like you step onto a scale to monitor your weight if your are dieting, you want to have something as simple to ensure your success in your new business.

I hear it said once at an event I was speaking at, "Don't treat your Million Dollar business like a hobby, and you'll have an income to pay for all your hobbies."

If you would like a simple review of your business plan, or would like to learn how to best put an accountability plan in place, feel free to contact me at sean@seangmurphy.com make sure you put "plan review" in the email subject line.

Or you can go to my website, www.SeanGMurphy.com and learn more there, and request your No-Fee Mentorship call.

Thanks for making a difference, I look forward to seeing you at the next event.

Twitter - Bringing value

What a phenomenon!
This is becoming a not only a household name, but a business tool as well. The challenge is that there are so many people that don't know how to use this as an effective tool, without sounding like a pitch man, or woman!

I hope I can share with you thoughts as I see them, and not as hard and fast rules. Twitter is a way for you to hear, be heard, and learn what is happening inside of a group of minds you choose to follow. That is it in a nut shell.

You begin with an account, then you have to 'update' what you are doing. The challenge is, what to say in the beginning. Well, say whatever your doing, "setting up my account, hello twitterland".
There are so many ways to find a segment of people that you feel you can connect with, "find people" in the tool bar on your page. Go there, and type in a word you might want to find. Lets see you could put, -success, meditation, money, opportunity, technical, military... get the idea?

Now you find some folks, and you can review their info, and choose to follow them. You will now begin to get their tweets as they are called.

Usually they will also follow you back, and then when you give an Update, they will be receivers of your info.

The key is to bring value. Think of it this way... they are following you, make sure you lead them with valuable information, so they continue to follow you. Its a volunteer army that is following, they can leave at any time.

Wishing you the best, and know that you are special to me, and those that love you. Make a difference.

Building your personal Brand

So what is it that you are known for? How do you want others to know you. No matter who you are, or what you do, you have a brand you are creating. Its who you are when you are in your home, in your business, at your grocery store... your brand is the expression others have of you.

So do what you can to define your brand.

What you read, what you eat, what you believe, who you say hello... all these are part of the brand that people will remember you by.

If you would like to work on your brand, I would be happy to give you some ideas.

Looking forward to bringing value, and until then,
